"Lindsay is being accused of stealing high end jewelry, including a necklace," one law enforcement source told Radar. "A search warrant was requested Tuesday at the Airport Court to search Lindsay's house for the item of jewelry in question."
Police have asked a Los Angeles judge for a search warrant for the starlet's Venice Beach home. They suspect that Lohan has stolen a piece of jewelry, and investigators told the court they have a video of Lohan wearing the missing jewels.
Police told the court they have video footage of Lohan, 24, wearing the missing jewelry.
Lohan, who is on probation, could be charged with a felony if the jewelry is valued at more than $5,000.
Lohan was released from the Betty Ford Center in January, having entered after testing positive for cocaine while on probation for a 2007 DUI case. She has been in rehab five times.
Her next court appearance on the DUI matter is scheduled for February 25.
Her dad claimed she passed all her drug tests, and she even sought a sober friend in ex-addict Tom Hardy, both definitely good steps towards staying out of trouble. Stealing jewelry, however, would not fall in the scope of Gandhi-inspired behavior!
