Country singer, Shania Twain started the new year by becoming a married woman! The country superstar and her boyfriend Frederic Thiebaud were married in Puerto Rico on New Year's Day in front of 40 of their closest friends and family. Twain tied the knot with Frederic Thiebaud, two years after splitting with her husband of 14 years Robert Lange — who allegedly had an affair with Thiebaud”s then wife.
Twain and music producer Lange had married in 1993, six months after meeting. Living between homes in New Zealand and Switzerland, the couple had a son who was six when they separated.
The couple’s road to matrimony has been a rocky one: Twain is now the wife of the ex-husband of the woman her own ex-husband cheated with. Bear with us, this is kind of confusing. Perhaps a double-wide trailer and banjo music would make this easier to explain.
